Wichita, Kan. - The Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference has recently announced the 2011 all-conference awards for women's soccer.

Southwestern College, off of a 4-25  record had several players honored for their efforts this season.  Taylor Kinnamon (Copeland, KS), Kindell Copeland (Wichita, KS), and Taylor Hallmark (Augusta, KS) were all named Honorable Mention All-KCAC.

Kansas Wesleyan University, led by Coach of the Year Fred Aubuchon, is the KCAC regular season champion. Tina Frick of Tabor College has been named Player of the Year, while teammate Hollister Wolf was named Setter of the Year.  Libero of the Year honors go to Amelia Noll of University of Saint Mary.  Freshman of the Year belongs to Allie Arnold of Ottawa University.

Volleyball - Mon, Nov 7, 2011

Leavenworth, Kan. - Southwestern College volleyball was swept on Saturday in the play-in game for the KCAC playoffs by the University of St. Mary, 0-3 (20-25, 22-25, 23-25).

This loss finishes the Lady Builder season and makes their final record 4-25 overall and 2-16 in KCAC play.

Southwestern College will graduate a great class of three seniors but will be looking to add several valuable pieces for 2012 which will fit into the fast, fun, and uptempo style of coach Donnie Wallace.  If you are interested in playing for the Lady Builders next year, please fill out a questionnaire on the website or contact coach Wallace directly.
