Ran Cross Country and Track at Haviland High School in Haviland, Kan. ...Earned Cross Country Medalist honors at the Kansas 1A Championship meet as both a junior and a senior...On the track, was a Kansas 1A State Championship medalist in the 800 meter run and the 4x800 meter relay as a junior and a senior...Also claimed medalist honors in the 1600 meter run as a senior...Holds the Haviland High School record of 2:00.87 in the 800 meter run, and the record of 8:18.01 in the 4x800 meter relay.
