Start of Fall Camp:

We are just one week away from the start of camp. The players have been working very hard this summer and I am more than ready to get going for the 2011 season.

Media and Coaches Poll:

During the annual KCAC Media Day we were picked in 8^th place in both polls.

Golf Tournament:

Our annual golf tournament was June 24^th and was a huge success thank you again to all those who participated or donated either an item for the Auction or Hole Sponsor. We were able to raise almost $7,000 to help purchase a new 5-man sled and headsets for game day for the coaches.

Important Dates:

August 27^th - Purple and White Scrimmage game time is 6pm. The QB Club will be hosting a cookout for all players, players' families and friends after the scrimmage. If you are interested in being a QB Club member please contact Ken Crandall for more information.

September 2^nd - The Southwestern Football Team will be hosting a cookout prior to the Winfield High School Game. We will be serving hamburger meal. All funds raised will be donated to a fund to help former Builder and WHS Viking player, Alex Hutchins, with his battle against Cancer. If you are in town we would love to see you at the game to help make this a great event for Alex.

September 3^rd - Kick-off against Northwestern College (IA) 6:00 pm.

Please Note all SC night games at Home this fall will begin at 6 pm.

Banquet:

We had our annual banquet in last week and below you will find those who received awards that were given out. I want to give another big thank you to our 2010 seniors, what they have done for this program was maybe not noticeable in wins and losses, but those of us entrenched in the program know what they have done for our program.

Spring Ball:

We are in our first week of winter workouts and will begin Spring Ball practice on 12^th, concluding on April 16^th with our 1^st annual Spring Purple and White Scrimmage. Look for more details to follow.

Golf Tournament:

The Friends of Builder Football Golf Tournament date is set for June 24^th at the Winfield County Club. Look for more details in the coming weeks on the web and in the mail.

Jersey's:

I know many of you asked about purchasing jerseys for games, well here is your chance. We are selling the Purple and White jersey's from for $60. The jersey will come with your favorite current player or former players name on the back.. For more information please fill free to email or call.
