1)      Southwestern College offers one of the largest dance scholarships in the area--$4000 per year!

2)      Southwestern JINX Dance Team members may receive academic scholarships in addition to their dance activity scholarship.

3)      While elite dance skills are welcome, they are not a requirement for acceptance on our dance team, providing dancers with other technical strengths an opportunity to dance at a collegiate level.

4)      All dance expenses (uniforms, team jackets, dance bags/pom-poms, camp fees, travel, competition fees, etc.) are paid for by the college so that athletes may participate at little personal cost.

5)      Dance practices and activities are purposely arranged to allow members to be actively involved in other areas of interest--including cheer, band, theatre, discipleship, choir, leadership, student government, and club activities.
