O'Brien states, "I am very grateful for the mentorship that our Athletic Director Dave Denly provides for me and our basketball program, as well as the dedicated support of President Merriman and his administration. Their support has enabled me to focus on the development of our athletes both on and off the court. I want our players to understand that we have a continuing responsibility to create an atmosphere of excitement around Men's Basketball and also a responsibility to be a part of the total picture of Southwestern College with strong academic and athletic performance. Our coaching staff works hard to ensure that each player reaches their full potential at Southwestern, not only as basketball players, but as young men.
