2014 Men's Soccer Coaches
Head Coach 3rd season
The 2013 season marks Joseph Yeisley's second as Head Men's Soccer Coach at Southwestern College. .
Yeisley, a native of Oklahoma, graduated from Catoosa High School in 2004. While at Catoosa he played basketball and soccer, where he helped the school win its first and only soccer state championship. After high school, Yeisley played both collegiate basketball and soccer before settling on soccer. In his collegiate soccer career, he was a two-time All Regional selection, a two-time academic All-American, and a three year captain. Yeisley graduated in 2008 with a bachelor degree in business administration and was valedictorian of his graduating class at Mid-America Christian University in Oklahoma City. Yeisley also holds a masters degree in business administration from Southwestern College, and has been assistant soccer coach here for two years.
Before coming to Southwestern, Yeisley served as a coach for the Norman North High School girls' soccer team in Norman, Okla., leading the team to a state tournament appearance. Yeisley also holds a USSF "B" National Coaching License, NSCAA Advanced National Diploma, and NSCAA Goalkeeping III Diploma.
Yeisley resides in Winfield and is married to Katie (Timmer) Yeisley, a Southwestern graduate. In addition to his role as head soccer coach, Yeisley also serves as resident director of Wallingford Hall.
Assistant Coach 3rd season
Chris Allen assumed the role as Assistant Men’s Soccer Coach at Southwestern College prior to the 2013 season. Allen was born and raised in in Kansas City, Mo. where he played soccer at Park Hill South High School in Riverside MO.
Allen had a successful collegiate career at Dana College in Blair, Neb. The School advanced to the final 16 of the NAIA National Championship in 2009 with Allen as the goalkeeper. Allen also spent two years playing baseball for Dana College.
After graduating in 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in sport management, Allen began his coaching career. Allen spent time as the Goalkeeper coach and assistant varsity coach for Blair High School in Blair, Neb. Allen also has experience with Park Hill South High School as the Goalkeeper and assistant coach.
Allen holds NSCA Level 1, 2, & 3 Goalkeeper certificates, and a USSF "D" coaching license. He is pursuing his Master’s degree in management at Southwestern College.
