Southwestern hosted the SC Relays this past weekend at Cowley C.C. in Arkansas City, KS, because of construction going on at Southwestern on the new stadium and track.  

The 4X100 Relay team consisting of Matt Perkins, Chandler Kirkhart, Kelvin Chaplin, and Colton Siler finished in second place in the race but achieved a "B" standard with their time of 42:28. Other standout performances included Kelvin Chaplin (2nd place and "B" standard mark) in the Long Jump, Carrington Crum (1st place and "A" standard time) in the 3000M Steeplechase, Chris Copeland (2nd place and "B" standard time) in the 800M Run, and Alex Hutchins (1st place and "A" standard mark) in the Hammer.
