Southwestern competed in the Friends Invitational this past weekend to wrap up a two week meet.  The men's team fought off fatigue from their Monday meet at Cowley to have a strong performance in a conference atmosphere on Saturday.  

The 4X800 Relay team consisting of Conner Drendel, Jimmy Bryant, Carrington Crum, and Chris Copeland not only won the even but also achieved a "B" standard with their time of 7:49.21. Other winners in their respective events were Conner Drendel in the 800M (1:59.96), Alex Hutchins in the Hammer (159-1), and Zack Conroy in the Steeplechase (10:11.76).
