Southwestern competed in the Friends Invitational this past weekend to wrap up a two week meet. The women's team fought off fatigue from their Monday meet at Cowley to have a strong performance in a conference atmosphere on Saturday.
For the second time in a week, Anjaih Clemons was a double winner, sweeping the 400M (58.59) and the 200M (25.47). Paige Carswell achieved an "A" standard mark in the Triple Jump with her best jump of the outdoor season (38' 6 3/4") which is only 3/4" off of her school record. Kari Roth won the 400M Hurdles while the 4x800 team also came away with a solid victory.
