Salina, Kan. - The Lady Builders exploded to a 22 point half time lead and played just well enough in the second half and kept a feisty KWU team at bay as SC defeated the Coyotes 58-51. Southwestern did an excellent job defensively on First Team All-KCAC member LaCole Wilkinson as they held her to 2 total points on 1-12 shooting.

Southwestern was led by Senior Amy Laible who finished with 12 points. The well rounded Lady Builders had seven players finish with five or more points. Tyler Hartfield finished with nine rebounds. 

Southwestern (22-8 Overall, 13-5 KCAC) will take on Sterling College on Monday, Feb 29, at 7 p.m. in the championship game of the KCAC Tournament in Sterling, Kan.
