WINFIELD, Kan. - The Southwestern College men's soccer dropped its fourth-straight contest in a 4-0 decision to Mid-America Christian Saturday afternoon at Richard L. Jantz Stadium. The Moundbuilders were limited to just one shot in the loss.

Nick Watts took Southwestern's only shot in the match, and it came halfway through the first period. The pressure was on freshman keeper Shawn Pancoast for the remainder of the match. Pancoast made seven saves to prevent further damage against his team.

Mid-America Christian needed just better than 11 minutes to net its first goal of the contest. The Evangels added goals in the 30th and 42nd minutes, and took a 3-0 lead into halftime. MACU scored its final goal in the 67th minute, and cruised to the 4-0 win.

The loss drops Southwestern to 1-4 on the season. They will return to action Wednesday to host nationally-ranked Oklahoma Wesleyan. Kick-off is scheduled for 8 p.m. at Richard L. Jantz Stadium.
