Winfield, Kan. - The Lady Builders used an impressive defensive effort and won the battle on the glass by 28.  Southwestern had as many offensive rebounds (31) as Tabor had overall rebounds. SC built a 15 point lead by halftime and continued to apply the pressure to keep a tough Tabor team at bay.  At the five minute mark Southwestern unloaded their bench in front of a ruckus crowd as the end of the bench finished off an excellent effort for the Lady Builders as SC wins 67-40.

Southwestern was led by Jasmine Manuel who finished with 14 points and Sara Maxwell who came off the bench to score 10 points in just 12 minutes.

Southwestern (21-8 Overall, 13-5 KCAC) will take on Kansas Wesleyan University on Saturday, Feb 27, at 2 p.m. in the semifinal round of the KCAC Tournament in Salina, Kan.
