Malachi Hoyer of Wichita, KS has signed his letter of intent to play for the 2012 Southwestern Men's Soccer Team. Hoyer attended Wichita Heights High School, where he was a member of the Boy's Soccer Team. During his time at heights, Hoyer played mainly in the midfield earning Second Team All-City both his Junior and Senior years. Southwestern will look for him to compete as an outside midfielder and winger for them.
"I am excited to be adding Malachi to our soccer program. He is a good young man and should be a nice addition to our program. I look for Malachi to come in and work hard for playing time right away," commented head coach Joseph Yeisley. Upon Hoyer's arrival at Southwestern, he plans to study Athletic Training and would like to one day be a trainer at a school.
