Drew Hudson, a 6'4" senior guard from Tulsa, OK, signed his letter of intent to play at Southwestern College on Wednesday, April 25th. Drew plans on majoring in Biology with an emphasis in Pre-Pharmaceutical studies.
"Drew is a tremendous student/athlete that excels in the classroom and was a valuable member of our state championship team with his ability to shoot the ball. He will be a good addition to the Southwestern basketball program," commented his high school coach, Rudy Garcia.
Hudson was a member of the 6a state championship team that went 28-0 this season. After averaging 11ppg as a junior, Hudson was plagued with a foot injury during his senior campaign.
"Drew will be an excellent addition to our team next season," Southwestern head coach Matt O'Brien commented. "Drew comes from a State Championship team where he was a great asset as an outside shooter. He is a humble player who will only get better throughout his career."
