
Lindsborg, Kan. - Southwestern College knocked down 13 three point shots en route to their sixth consecutive KCAC victory with a win over Bethany College, 88-52.
This win improves #22 Southwestern to 13-5 overall and 7-1 in KCAC play.
The Lady Builders jumped out to 7-0 lead quickly in the game and pushed the lead to 18 at the half, 43-25. Southwestern in the second half began a birage of three point makes and offensive efficiency, scoring 1.24 point per possession to help lead the Lady Builders to the 36 point victory. Southwestern scored 36 points off of turnovers and finished the game with 17 assists compared to only nine turnovers.
Southwestern shot 39.7% from the field and 77.8% from the line for the game.
Brett Bates led the Lady Builders with 22 points on 7-12 shooting. Brittney Chamberlin finished with 15 points.
