Winfield, Kan. - In non-conference action Monday night, Southwestern College hosted the Indians from Haskell Indian Nations. Despite leading at halftime by two points, the Builders could not match the energy of Haskell in the second half, falling by a final score of 59-66.
This loss drops the Builders to 4-1 overall on the year.
Southwestern was led by Ethan Randolph (Mt. Vernon, KS) who finished with 20 points and 13 rebounds.
Haskell was led by Brady Fairbanks who finished with 25 points, including a three pointer around a minute left as the shot clock expired. His fade away three ended up being the final dagger in the game.
Southwestern will next host Johnson and Wales University on Friday at 7 p.m.
