WINFIELD, Kan. — The Southwestern College athletic unveiled a fresh look for www.buildersports.com Friday morning. The redesign, completed by SIDHelp and Black Diamond IT Services, in cooperation with the athletic department and the Southwestern Marketing and Communications office, features a design that will help cater to the numerous ways the public consumes its information.

One of the many highlights of the new site is its responsive design, which will adjust the layout according to the size of the viewer's screen and allow the site to be fully functional on desktops, laptops, tablets and cell phones. With this in mind, the BuilderSports mobile app for Apple and Android platforms, will become inactive.

The new site also includes a social media panel on the home page and each sport's landing page, highlighting posts from the department's Twitter and Instagram accounts.

The redesign process began in July, with Assistant Athletic Director/Sports Information Director Scott Nuss spearheading the operation.

"The process has been completely worth it in the end," Nuss said. "The SIDHelp crew has been great to work with, and our final product will help tell the story of our student-athletes in some fun new ways. I home Builder Nation is as happy with the new design and its new features as I am."

SIDHelp is one of the most widely-used athletics website provider in the NAIA, powering hundreds of sites across all levels of schools, from college to high schools. SIDHelp also powers the NAIA's website.
