VALLEY, Neb. – The Southwestern College women's golf program continued its 2017 fall season Monday. Sophomore Abby Bertholf was the Lady Builders' top finisher in the tournament, and Southwestern finished ninth at the Bellevue University Fall Invitational, which was held at The Pines Country Club in Valley, Neb.

Bertholf led the Lady Builders in the event, which was limited to one round due to rain and wet course conditions. The sophomore carded an 84 (+12) in the only round of the event, and finished in a three-way tie for 26th. Freshman Megan Mullins was two strokes back at 86 (+14), while sophomore Meagan Brady finished at 88 (+16). Freshman Lauren Sieh and junior Bailey Pfingsten rounded out the Southwestern scorecard. Sieh carded a 94 (+22), while Pfingsten finished with a 104 (+32).

As a team, Southwestern finished ninth in the tournament with a team score of 352. Morningside won the team title with a 308.

Southwestern will conclude its fall slate on Oct. 29, traveling to Oklahoma City for the Southern Plains Intercollegiate.
