DENVER, Colo. – The Southwestern College women's soccer team suffered its second loss of their Colorado trip.  The Lady Builders took the Wildcats of Johnson & Wales (Colo.) to overtime, but fell to a 2-1 decision in favor of the Wildcats on Sunday afternoon.

The Basics…
Southwestern (2-3) held Johnson & Wales (2-3-1) to only one goal throughout regular play.  The Lady Builders forced overtime with a late goal in the game.

How it Happened…
-Johnson & Wales scored its first goal 27 minutes into the match, giving the Wildcats a 1-0 advantage.
-Junior Evelyn Rodriguez put the ball in the net off of a deflection from the Wildcat keeper.  The Garden City, Kan. native scored with just under four minutes left of regulation play, forcing an overtime between the two teams.
-Johnson & Wales scored at the 96:20 mark, making the final decision, 2-1 in favor of the Wildcats.

Inside the Box Score…
-Rodriguez scored the only goal for the Lady Builders, her second goal of the Colorado trip.
-The Lady Builders were outshot 14-6 by the Wildcats.  Southwestern took two shots in each period of play.
-Karrie McNutt and Evelyn Rodriguez led the Southwestern offense, each taking two shots throughout the match.
-Senior goalkeeper, Olyvia Bish, had six saves in Sunday's game.

The Lady Builders continue their road swing with a trip to Saint Gregory's University on September 16.  The match begins at 3 p.m. in Shawnee, Okla.
