Wichita, Kan. - Southwestern College women's basketball struggled to gain any footing in their second half comeback attempt versus Friends University on Saturday night, losing 76-86.

This loss drops Southwestern to 7-5 overall and 3-1 in KCAC play.

Southwestern led the majority of the first half but failed to close out the half, and went into the break trailing by 3, 38-41.  After intermission, Friends shot the ball very well, shooting 50% from the field in the second half.  Despite a very aggressive comeback effort, the Lady Builders came up a little bit short.
