Wednesday, May 4, 2011- Southwestern inked two Coffeyville Community College sophomores for the 2011 season. Haley Connell, Leavenworth, KS and Aly Sparkman, Owasso, OK, were both stand out players for the Ravens and will add experience to the Lady Builders team. Connell is a crafty center-mid who played four years at Leavenworth High School and two years at Coffeyville. She will transfer to SC in the fall and major in Physical Education. Sparkman is a standout forward who received several KJCCC honors at Coffeyville including All-Conference recognition, player of the week and all-academic team. Sparkman will bring fire to the Builder attack as she pursues a degree in Psychology. The Moundbuilders are looking forward to the addition of both Connell and Sparkman.
